I have a requirement for a multi-threading example written in C#. I need this to be done within the next week or so. Here are the details:
1. The text value and the current time should be written to the msaccess database ([login to view URL]), located in folder "c:\My C# Projects\multithreading\Data" . When inserting, the assumption must be that the database is connected. If an error condition prevents a successful insert (such as an error caused by the lack of a database connection, any another sqlcode error, or an error caused by the 'force "other" error' checkbox) an entry must be added to the "c:\My C# Projects\multithreading\Data\[login to view URL]" notepad file that records the time that the error occurred, the value that should have been inserted into the database, and the cause of the unsuccessful insert attempt (sqlcode and sql error text). In the case of the forced error, "999999 - other error" must be recorded.
2. To provide for a "999999 - other error" simulation for the above requirement, the ability must exist to connect to and disconnect from the database.
3. A thread is required that must be able to run in the background of any other processing that is taking place to check if the connection to the database has been restored. If it has it should attempt to insert into the database only those records that couldnt be previously inserted due to the absence of a connection. For each record that is subsequently inserted successfully the entry in the text file that refers to that to that record must be removed from the text file.
4. All code is to be written using the oo methodology, and should be well commented to show what is happening where.
In your bid please indicate how soon you would be able to complete the work.
Best Regards
Paul
