I have a Dell Laptop from 2016 that an old employer gave me. I'm running Windows 10 Pro Version 20H2. OS Build 19042.572. I have a few things that I'd like fixed:
1) There are certain security settings as well as the time/clock that are controlled by the administrator. Can we make it so I have full rights to the computer and possibly remove from the computer from the domain?
2) Ever since the past couple Windows updates, it seems that I have to reboot in order to successfully connect to different VPNs. I'm an IT consultant and used to routinely disconnect and reconnect to several VPN's per day and never used to have an issue reconnecting. Now, it seems that the wireless or VPN networks/drivers must be having some issue.
3) There is a pop up error that appears every time I boot the computer. "This application failed to start because it could find or load the Qt platform plugin "windows" in "". Reinstalling the application may fix this problem." (I don't which application this is though.) How can I fix this?
4) I'd like any general advice / suggested tools for keeping my computer clean and optimized. I currently use CyLance Antivirus and I also use CCleaner instead of the built in Windows cleaner.
