Self signed certificate support for Unity3D -- 2

We want our Unity 3D App (both iOS and Android) to communicate with REST api server running on a self-signed certificate. We are able to this with a purchased certificate and have no issue with it. What we really want is our app to communicate properly with a self-signed certificate on an nginx DJango server with TLS 1.2.

We have tried the same with an express NodeJS (v6.x) server with self-signed certificate ( with no additional configurations) and found it working perfectly.

Code written with UnityWebRequest is most preferable.

The versions are follows:

These are the following requirements:

Provide Code ( can provide in form of plugins) that runs on both iOS and Android that can communicate properly with self signed certificate enabled servers for Django nginx stack. #ketedebo.
