I am looking to develop an application to utilize the Near Field Communication functionality in most modern Smartphones for RFID tag reading and writing for asset tracking.
The app interface would be twofold. The main interface would be simply for reading tags. When scanned, the tag information should then immediately pop up onto the screen, displaying the tag name and all associated information. This info should be saved to a section for previously scanned tags, listed by tag name. Clicking on the tag name will bring up all of the associated information. There may be a potential requirement for an export/email option for the tag info.
The second user interface is accessed after signing in with a user name and password. The login option will be a button within a general dropdown list. By signing in, the app will grant the user the ability to write information to the RFID tags.
The simpler the interface, the better. This app will be used in industrial environments so clarity and simplicity of use are important. The app will ideally be compatible with both Android and iPhone.
I have built a general frame for what I would like the app interface to look like on the website Fluid UI. The photo attached contains a QR code that can be used to access this preliminary design if you have an app. I can provide more photos late if required.
