I'm struggling with performance optimisation for my app. I am trying to feature a large number of markers on a map (using react-native-maps) each with a timer. However, when moving around the map and changing the markers that are displayed is turning out to be quite performance intensive and blocks the JS thread. I attempted to use 'supercluster' but that also is quite slow and when loading data from the server it requires to have the entire list, including the current objects, loaded in not just the new ones which also takes some time. Not to mention that the large number of timers also decrease the FPS a fair bit. I've come to realise that this probably needs to be done on the native side to improve performance. Is there anyone here who may be able to assist with finding a solution / creating a native module to just pass the data to native and then allow that to deal with the timers and clustering/showing only visible markers? Would really appreciate the assistance and would of course be offering compensation! Thanks so much :)
