Hybrid Graphical Password Authentication System for Smartphones by Measuring Usability of Image Choice and Password Memorability

The purpose of this study is to document how users choose image and memorize emojis in hybrid mobile authentication. This study uses literature review to identify key characteristics of click-based graphical password system and emoji-based system. Then, it uses experiments to recommend how the theory of image choice and password memorability can use click-based graphical password system and emoji-based system to enhance mobile authentication. Results of the study would include key characteristics of graphical password system, method and process of choosing image and memorizing emojis in hybrid mobile authentication. The results are expected to lead towards hybrid graphical password system theory, proof of concept (prototype), and application.
