We are actively seeking an experienced developer to build out an MVP of our application. We are an early-stage startup based in Chicago, IL building a mobile collaboration platform for wedding planning. We completed the UX and are currently working on the UI, so the design elements are taken care of. Our app is completely fleshed out and prototyped in over 50 screens which we are happy to share with interested developers.
Ideally our product would be a native mobile app, with a priority on cross platform functionality (i.e. ReactNative). We are also open to building this on Swift for iOS. The application features for the MVP product include a chat tool, text survey, shared checklists, role assignment and user profiles. We need developers to build this app from scratch - both the back-end and front-end (coding the designs provided).
Based on project scope estimates, the full app will take about 250+ hours to develop, and so will require someone for about 3-4 months part-time or 1-1.5 months full-time. We are open to two developers working together (i.e. front and back end) to complete this project. We would like to kick off development by end of August / September, and complete the project by November.
More about our startup: BrideGuide is a mobile collaboration platform that solves every bride’s greatest wedding planning challenge: the stressful coordination amongst different groups of friends, family and in-laws. Through features like group forums, surveys, task assignments and shared checklists, BrideGuide will allow brides to seamlessly collaborate with their core team on planning events like the shower, bachelorette party and wedding. BrideGuide is a member of the 2017 Cohort of the Polsky Accelerator, based in Chicago IL.
