The purpose of this project is to enhance and existing Android application to include advanced video analysis features through computer vision/machine learing. This project is a replacement from a previous CONTEST that had to be changed over. This project has a limit of $750, that will be paid to the bidder once the project is awarded and then accepted. The application we currently have allows users to create multiple profiles and then record and save videos associated with each profile. The videos recorded are specifically for baseball players taking swings.
The enhancement required for this project/contest is to take the recorded video and perform video analysis frame-by-frame through computer vision and/or machine learning to track the ball when it enters frame. Through tracking the ball the analysis will show the path of the ball as it moves toward the players and the path of the ball as it moves away from the player. In addition to tracking the ball the analysis will alos provide the speed of the ball toward the player, speed of ball as moves away from player, and the angle in which the ball moves away from the player.
We are attaching a formal requirements document and will be attaching sample video as well.
This project will NOT exceed a payment of $750 that was guaranteed in the original contest, but will payout in full the $750. All bids should be for this total. Before this project is award we will need to see and test a working demo of the application as required within the original contest.
