Build app based on provided SDK documentation for data collection and data labeling.

I need to build a custom app for a motion sensor that was purchased to collect data. The manufacture provides a well-documented SDK with example code on how to build custom apps using their libraries and example source code for apps already made. The original app allows you to log sensor data and download it when needed to a .csv file. I need the exact same thing except I want it to also add labels to the data. Use case: Turn on data collection device in the morning and carry out the day, as data is logged by default every point is labeled as "non-active" then when im about to begin the specific activity in the day, i just press a button on the app that now labels any data after recorded as "active" until i press the button again and disable it and it goes back to labeling the collected data to "non-active" until activated again. Once data is done for the day, it is saved as a CSV and uploaded to a google drive. App has a super super simple interface.
