The main objective of my research is to design and analyze a pilot sequence allocation technique to mitigate PC and achieve high spectral efficiency or sum rate in TDD based large scale/massive MIMO system. In my proposed method I will divide the cell coverage area into center & edge part and make sectors of edge part by smart antenna technique, then assign orthogonal/unique pilot to each sector of the edge zone. No matter if non-orthogonal pilot reuse at the center sectors of the cell but pilot used by UEs at the edge of two sectors must be orthogonal to reduce the effect of pilot contamination
