The task is as follows: - to build in Matlab neural networks forecasting industrial production and retail sales one, two and three months ahead. Output needed is quite standard - forecasts, statistics, performance (errors). IMPORTANT - The forecasts in one month horizon will have to beat competing econometric models Errors and data are provided in attached files (for retail sales, for industrial output later). - to write around 2 pages (possibly in bullets) why this kind of network was used, and not the other one. I need explanations about each choice/decision made during nn construction (like why this number of epochs, why this and not that way etc). It could be in a tree or mindmap way - I need to see how many options there were and why this particular was chosen. I just would like to generally understand why the nn's are contructed this particular way. The code have to be written in a user friendly way with explanations. Best, J

I can deliver this project with in 15 days. I have already done Electricity load demand forecasting project using wavelets and NN's. The brief description of the project is as follows: Wavelet transformation is applied on the past Electricity load demand data and so obtained wavelet coefficients are fed to Nueral-Network to predict future coefficients. Eventually inverse wavelet transformation is used to get the future values of load demand. Using wavelets we can extract the trend, seasonal and periodic patterns in the time domain data. Once the given time domain signal is decomposed into different components, you can easily predict the future pattern components using NN’s. Finally, inverse wavelet transform is applied to get the actual time domain components. These components are added to get the forecasted values of given time dime domain signal. I can guarantee you that the results using above proposed method are accurate. And the statistical measures like MSE (Mean Square Error), MAPE (Mean absolute percentage error) would be with in the reasonable limit. My bidding price is:160$
