New Technological Crowdfunding Product Launch

We have a need for a (crowdfunding) marketing professional to help with our new product launch. Our product is a data acquisition device developed for low(er) cost, ease of use, and powerful feature set. In this sense, "data acquisition product" refers to the hardware/software combo which collects physical data through connected sensors. Our device is a newcomer to a very large and established industry with an anticipated niche for student, educational, research, small business applications. "What do these devices actually do?" Here is a page we created to explain the pieces a little better: [login to view URL] As far as the crowdfunding backers, we suspect we'd attract hobbyist types - our product is a bit of an odd fit for crowdfunding... BUT we want to focus much of our crowdfunding efforts to encourage backers who would like to promote STEM for students. Our device is a professional product, but is priced such that it is attractive to budget constrained applications: high school/college, post graduate research, small business, etc. But powerful enough for high level use in places like national laboratories, Tesla, NASA, etc. Our sister company, Tacuna Systems, has related products at these (and similar) companies. The initial launch goal would be to partially fund our initial production run with crowdfunding. The fundraising goal would be $10,000 - $50,000+. We would like the potential freelancer to handle things such as: market research, crowdfunding campaign pre-planning, social marketing, potential article submission, research product review opportunities, manage explainer video creation, email campaign, lead generation (B2B, academic, direct), additional marketing activities, etc. Initial thoughts would be to launch on [login to view URL] and/or one of the other more mainstream crowdfunding platforms. Currently, we've initiated an initial 250 piece production run of our base model, Nyquist I. These will be completed in about 5 weeks. At which time, they will be ready for shipment to our first customers. As such, we would like to begin our marketing/crowdfunding campaign quickly. We have begun a promotional video with some filming completed and more scheduled in the coming weeks.
