Greetings, I have a server running on Ubuntu. It has 8 processors but only 2 processors are shown as running when I execute htop. The problem: I try to switch on some processors using this command "echo 1> /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu3/online " But I get file No such file or directory error. When I go to the folder: /sys/devices/system/cpu I can see that there are only 2 CPU folders listed: cpu0, and cpu1 fo the webserver. If I run cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/offline: It shows 2-7. Meaning cpu0 - cpu1 are online, but cpu2 - cpu7 are offline. How will you turn on these CPUs and put them to use for me? Best regards!
