There are two parts to this task. One:
I need help setting up a Makefile build process for a C++ project on Linux. I currently have a Mac OSX target and need the Linux environment to build.
The project uses OpenSSL, Boost and LevelDB. I would like the Linux target to generate a portable executable that will run on systems when copied. If this can be linked to the executable that would be ideal otherwise including libs in a folder will work.
The second portion of this task is to make the Mac OSX build target portable so that when the binary is copied to other systems the libraries (openssl, etc) will not cause and error.
Please send any questions.
Here is a link to the current Makefile:
The Mac target builds but the executable isn't portable and the Linux target does not work.
