We need to move our PLEX server to a new setup. Today our PLEX server is placed on a VPS server with Hertzner, but it must be moved to a new server, which is setup on OVH. Firstly, the server at OVH must be setup with the correct settings, also in relation to iptables, CSF etc, så the security is max. Afterwards a VPS server must be setup – at Hertzner, we use OpenVZ. PLEX must then be moved to the new server, including all the data. In the new setup it is the idea that it must be setup with ip failover, thus it is 2 identical servers, which must be setup, before the task is solved. When the project is delivered, then there will be a primary server and a secondary server, the primary server must continuously keep the secondary server backed up, so if the primary server fails, then the secondary server must always be able to continue without any loss of data.
