We are a fast-growing B2B real estate software and services company with clients around the globe.
We are looking for a WebGL developer for a number of projects, including work on a panorama viewer. This will be an excellent opportunity to immerse yourself in the challenges of browser graphics and build something 'web scale'. You'll be thinking about:
-live asset streaming
-level of detail
-transition effect shaders
-...and a lot more
-Computer graphics experience. You should be intimately familiar with 3D math, and understand the rendering pipeline and how shaders work. Being able to explain the rendering equation also helps.
-Natural inclination towards low level programming. You should feel at home working with low level graphics API's.
-Passionate about systems programming. Ideally, you're someone that cut their teeth working with graphics in a traditional target environment (C++, DX/OGL) (Rust, Vulkan) and decided to pivot to the browser/JS to take advantage of untapped WebGL potential.
-An understanding of software architecture, clean code, and best practices.
-Enthusiastic about the ongoing evolution of browser complexity. WebAssembly, WebGL2, and WebGPU should naturally excite you.
