itemName = [login to view URL](/+/g,'%2B');
itemName = [login to view URL](/#/g,'%23');
but having no success.
I am getting an error that says
"Uncaught SyntaxError: Invalid regular expression: /+/: Nothing to repeat"
If there are other special characters I need to escape to send strings via a URL let me know. I am using myURL = encodeURI(myURL); before my AJAX call.
I require all all strings of all sorts of characters to be sent over ajax. You are not responsible for writing the ajax - that has already been done. I just want to ensure that any special characters get escaped and I am having trouble with the regex.
