Invoicing Matching Script

Background: In our organization our vendors work and track daily hours in our timekeeping system ([login to view URL]). At the end of each month we have them also send an invoice (to [login to view URL]). As part of our reconciliation process we manually check the time in the system and ensure that it matches the value from the invoicing system. We would like to automate this process. Systems: Invoice tracking system – [login to view URL] (api: [login to view URL]) Time Keeping System- [login to view URL] (api: [login to view URL]) Problem: Given a command line input of: File that contains a mapping from unique ID’s in the invoicing system to unique ID’s in the timekeeping system MM/YYYY (the month to verify) We’d like an output CVS with the following cols: VendorName (from [login to view URL] API) Bill.com-ID (same as input file) Clicktime-ID (same as input file) MM/YYYY (per input) [login to view URL] Value Clicktime Value (hours * rate) Match (Y/N) The output CSV will contain a record for each vendor with an invoice in that input month. Additional requirements and details: 1. The time keeping system needs to wrap external API’s such that we can swap out either 3. Script should be able to be deployed to AWS environment (Possibly a Lambda) 4. Script output should be able to integrate with slack the results of that report to a particular channel 5. NICE TO HAVE - not required, Slack integration, so that this can be initiated from Slack and the response comes to slack.
