Gingerbread Man Childrens Book

I am trying to help my mother who is a kindergarten teacher and a new author, with her book illustrations. We are looking with someone who is budget friendly (hoping $15-$25 per page or $400 for whole book with potential for more) but also talented and able to make various scenes involving running and multiple characters. The pages will also need the words of the book put on them. The book will probably be around 20 pages but we want to start with paying for a smaller gig of a couple pictures to make sure we can communicate everything properly online and get the desired result! Style we are very open with! Some characters include the gingerbread man, a grandma, grandpa, 5 grandchildren, tailgaters, etc.
