The Project will be 4 stages: Stage 1: Search tool: to be able to search by: (Author name, Title of the article) Articles: Show the author(s) name Weather: fix the weather to detect the location of the visitor and display the information. Comments on Articles: users would able to post comments on each of the article. a. The comment should show in the user dashboard, comment list. b. The comment should show in the author of the article and have the ability to respond/delete/disable user from writing comments on this article only. Margins: change the design to fit all size of monitors, which will eliminate the left and right margins as in following photo. Stage 2: Navigation bar: we need to have an editor to be able to change color, size, and style of the fonts. Registration Form: redesign the registration form to be user’s friendly, more professional look, with hints to help users in entering their information, spaces should match the length of the variable. Users dashboard: Allow users to : 1. My Profile: edit their profile information. 2. My favorite: list of articles: Title, Author Name, Section, date published, Action (delete/view). The title and author name of article when clicked should take the user to the article, or author’s list of articles published. 3. My Blog: List of comments (Blog): summary (when clicked show full comment), date, Article, Section, and Author. Stage 3: Authors’ dashboard: will have all of user’s above plus: 1. My Articles: list of the articles published showing Title, Section, Date published, Action (publish/delete/edit). 2. Blog List: see the blog on his article (summary, name, action (respond/delete/ban user) Section Admin: Will have all of above (1, 2), plus: 1. List of Authors in this section only (Author name, date, Articles title, Action [Active(able to publish)/not Active (can’t publish)]. When click the name of the author will take to author profile, list of article published by this author. 2. Able to add/remove new names to the list of authors when contacted by author who wants to publish in the section. 3. List of Articles published in the section (this list is different from My Article list). Section admin, is able to deactivate the article from being published. Stage 4: Super Admin: List of: 1. All users 2. List of all Authors (name, section, etc, action (active/delete) 3. List of Section admins ( able to add/remove) form the list 4. List of articles (able to publish/edit/delete) 5. List of Blogs: 6. Able to add sections, edit navigation bars, etc. Editors Tool: review the current article Editors tool that allow authors to past, type, upload, change fonts style, color, size for the title and body of the article, and upload photos, preview the article.
