General overview of job:

We are looking for someone who has the ability to create and design a website that will allow for the monitoring and historic record keeping of sports book wagering. There will be NO actual wagering on the site.

Users will need to be able to select from events/odd in near real-time or from a slight delay, from APIs. Possibly multiple APIs. (depending on availability & cost).

The users will select sporting events that that API passes and then those selections will be logged and recorded.

The users will be able to give their URL link to anyone who can see their historic record to prove their selections are legit.

Internal analytics would need to be available on a sliding scale. Minor analytics for free users and more advanced for paying users. (Graphs, charts, statistics etc)

Paying users will be able to select from different packages to suit their needs. They will need the ability to send out mass emails and notifications to their customer base and possible SMS abilities (undetermined).

Some sort of internal forum, with the ability to tie in to a specific event.

If there is an event with NBA teams Cleveland vs San Antonio, we would like to have forum capabilities directly inside that event, but also in a normal forum setup with threads, and have them linked, so they both show the same information.

Web scraping will be needed to pull the scores from the events during period times. Mostly half times and after they have ended. Would need at least two backup sources in case the first failed within X # of minutes. Obscure events might be hard to near impossible to find. In that case, would need a manual way to grade and an option for an event to be graded by certain specific users.

Need multiple administrative functions/options to be built in to manage the site to manage users, events, email/communication and other common admin functions. (think/ask, we want opinions).

Paying customers can utilize Paypal and possibly Bitcoin to pay for their services.

We can provide similar websites to show examples of what we are looking for. We want something better than what currently exists with more granularity to it.

We are flexible on the timeframe for completion, but would like for it to be done well before the end of the year. We put the start date as immediate, but are open to accepting offers which will not be able to start immediately.

We have not set an hourly rate or hours per week, as we are flexible in both, but we do have a budget in mind. We are going into this with the mindset that there will be no immediate returns on investment, and hope that over time it will end up paying for itself.

This is our first project we are putting up here. We would like to see some of your previous work and if you are knowledgeable about sports wagering it would be a plus.

If you have any questions just ask.

We've added a document with more information from questions we've been asked and to try to clear up any other information.
