I am writing a series of children's books- looking to hire someone who can draw up the illustrations for me. They should be simple, bright and fun- appropriate for age 4-6 years. I would need someone who can create a character from a description (e.g. Tom is a scruffy, friendly, ginger kitten) and who create a scene from a description (e.g. Tom cat dances around the room with a mop). There are 24 books in the first series. I have not written all the books already so the full job would roll over the next 6-8 months. I would like the style to be consistent in all of the books so I would need someone who is prepared to work with me over the next 6-8 months. Each book has about 10 pages of illustrations. The price range indicated below is per book. I would need the drawings in hi-res, layered format that can be used in Corel.
