I have firsthand experience helping startups raise early stage funding. In 2009, I assisted the CEO and CTO of a Genetics company in Berkeley with fundraising $3M from Angel Investors, and in 2015 I personally led a team to fundraise over $16,000 from various individual investors for a start-up in biotechnology.
In addition to my first hand experience as a fundraiser, I have 10+ years of experience in writing and developing grant, business plans, go-to-market strategy, and market sizing analysis and sales strategy for Companies, and presenting this information to C-suite executives (CEO’s, CTOs and Director of Research). I would love to help you in your project not only from the aspect of writing, but also in terms of consultant and guidance (if that is something you need).
I love taking an abstract and complex idea, and developing it into a solid business strategy with a viable revenue model. I also work part-time for a Venture Capital Firm in San Diego, so that positions me with a unique perspective to understand what Investors are actually looking for, since I work with early-stage investors everyday!
Currently I am a freelancer myself and trying to save up enough to start my own business, so I understand the importance of getting the right professionals to help you achieve your goals. Looking forward to working with you!
Best Regards,
William
