Scanning page of phone number with chrome extension

Our cloud telephone application runs on a dedicated device that is separate from the user’s main computer. The mounted tablet is the phone. See the attached illustration.

Objective: sync the tablet phone to a Chrome browser extension on the desktop computer. When the extension scans a web page and recognizes a phone number, it will report back to our central server. Then we will push a notification to the tablet phone offering to dial that phone number.
