Youtube Presenter & Social Media Marketing Assistant

A leading company in North Nottinghamshire, UK, is looking to recruit an ethusiastic, clear and well spoken, charismatic social media presenter and marketing assistant to appear in social media videos demonstrating in depth a wide range of products and reporting, on film, at industry events; and manage the company's social channels. Note: Possible digtial marketing apprenticeship may be considered or offered as part of this role. The role is a 50/50 role split. 50% will be presenting on social media platform videos and the other 50% will be assisting the management of the company's social media and digital marketing strategy. The ideal candidate will be energetic, clear and well spoken, and charismatic with a good knowledge of the mechanics of how social media works and a keen interest to develop their carrer in this sector. This part of the role will involve being the face of the company's YouTube channel, demonstrating products and services as well as attending industry events and reporting on them. Another part of the role is assisting in the company's social media and digital marketing strategy including keeping the website up to date and asisting with other customer acquasition strategies. The cadidate will require at least some knowledge of Adobe packages such as Premier Pro (or Avid) and Photoshop (or similar) as well as have at least a basic understanding of video editing to create professional videos, and photo editing to create professional images for social media. The initial application process is as follows. The candidate shoud send the following by email only and should contain all the information below. The candidate should carefully prepare their application as each candidate is given one oppurtunity to apply. 1) C.V. 2) Short biography in writing - information about the canidate as well as the path the candidate intends to lead to progress your career in presenting, media and marketing. 3) At least 1 link to a video that showcases the candidate's presenting skills. This can be on YouTube, Instagram or Facebook, but must be a public video. The advice to the candidate is to be as natural as possible. The video should be a 2-part video that includes a) a basic product demonstration and b) a basic discussion style interview with someone (anyone) or a biography of a fictional person. The recoding quality of this video is not as important as showcasing the charisma of the candidate and post production skills. Videos made on smart phones will be accepted provided they're edited properly. 4) The Adobe Premier Pro (or similar package) source file, to demonstrate at least a basic ability to edit and produce videos. Please upload the above information to a Dropbox (or similar) file hosting account. The candidate should not simply share the folder via the share function. The candidate should curate an email, with links to the Dropbox folder in the email, and send to marketing [at] [login to view URL] with a complete introduction email.
