Small accounting firm is seeking a part-time Full Charge Bookkeeper who is proficient in QuickBooks Pro. The position offers a friendly professional atmosphere, and a team oriented working environment. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can work efficiently in a deadline driven environment.
Job Description:
Organize and process various companies monthly, quarterly or annual accounting from beginning to completion
Post deposits/receipts for accounts and reconcile bank statements on a monthly basis
A/R - Reconcile Accounts Receivable, send out invoices and follow up on late payments
A/P - Process payables and print checks
Prepare and enter journal entries. Produce financial statements from QuickBooks
Prepare Monthly and Quarterly Operating Reports
Prepare and process Payroll in QuickBooks
Prepare other reports and respond to inquiries, as needed
Ensure strict confidentiality of company financial records
Prepare 941, 940, TWC Reports and W2's
Prepare 1099's
Prepare Sales Tax Reports.
Requirements:
• 3+ years experience
• Proficient with using QuickBooks Pro
• Strong MS Word, Excel and Adobe experience
• Strong Communication Skills (oral & written)
