Current scenario 1. Excel connects to a Financial system - Oracle Essbase/Hyperion 2. Manual Update is being done now to update excel file for latest data from Oracle Essbase/Hyperion Goal 1. Write a Macro to refresh the data 2. Use Alteryx ETL tool (Run Command in Events section of ‘Workflow Configuration’ window) to Run this Macro and 3. Eliminate ever having to go to excel to update the data Catches While trying to connect to Oracle Essbase/Hyperion via excel, an authentication window pops up which needs a password to be passed. Figure out a way to pass the Password through Alteryx and fully automate the process
