I'm looking for a skilled Excel expert to create a file that calculates the necessary parts for a job based on the user inputs. Currently, we use an excel file with multiple tabs that we manually update. But with an interface where a user selects the parameters, one could generate spreadsheets with the required parts. Then a team could update information like inventory location, shipment status, etc weekly. This file should have “Job type logic” programmed based on the job type input parameters inserted by user. Basically, there would be a set of essential tools or equipment needed to do such job. Each tool would require several parts to be ordered at the beginning of the project. Ideally one initial interface receives the input parameters, then a set of excel tabs could be created containing required parts to execute the job. The solution should also: Calculate if the current parts stock (SOH) is enough for the projected jobs based on the Job Type, or if more parts need to be bought. The solution should use the information about how many items each job requires from the SOH. Moreover, the solution should let the user add new tools and new part identifiers to the SOH. This above is just an idea based on what is known and done by our team nowadays using Excel spreadsheets. Due to the proficiency in Excel this is the target software. We are open to suggestions to improve and automate the tasks. The designed file should be easy to update, with clear categories and a user-friendly interface. It would be helpful if the freelancer has a solid knowledge of Excel's advanced features. This expertise will ensure efficiency and accuracy in the project outcome.
