Kindly follow the flowchart diagram as attached. We have 12 Excel Sheets to be used by 12 Users (Group 1) separately from which data is copied by User1 (Group1) into a Master Sheet. In the 'Master Sheet' further 3 other Group of Users are to provide their inputs against the available data and thus the data would get updated. Now, the updated data is to be copied back to Group1 Users, to respective 12 sheets. All spreadsheets are the same excel sheets in same format. In the given scenario We want the process to be Automated preferably with Excel VBA/ Micro. Any suggestions on the Automation and Sharing of data is appreciated.

Hi, I have written a macro like this before for task manager automation. The way I accomplished that task and would wish to approach ur requirement is below: User Group 1: Presentation spreadsheet User Group 2: Presentation spreadsheet Assigner: Master Spreadsheet Additional: Database spreadsheet Master adds task to Database spreadsheet which is kept in a fixed / semifixed location. The tasks in ur case would be a row of data (simply) User group 1 and 2 using Presentation sheet pulls data from database sheet and updates the same through presentation sheets. Master has task deletion and addition rights meanwhile presentation sheets are limited to updations to data only. Technical Method: ADO/DAO Pro's: 1. Easy management 2. Backups if needed 3. No data loss. 4. No limit to presentation sheets PS: I can also complete the project for my initial ratings as a freelancer free of cost..but would like to understand the requirement of the project closely. Hello! I am new to Freelancer, so I don't currently have any reviews. But I would love for you to be my first client! I have a suggestion: Excel macros are often complicated and can take a long time to run (as excel is a powerful program and this creates a large overhead for computer processing). If selected, I would complete this project in Python. It is a simple programming language that can take data from excel, make any necessary transformations, and put it into the same or a different excel file MUCH faster than any program written in VBA. I actually first started learning Python after getting frustrated with how slow VBA programs were. "There must be a better way!" I thought, and there is! I have now almost 2 years of experience working with Python and Excel and automating data flow and data processing. For example, I just recently took 1000s of files from a psychology lab and transferred them into one masterfile, and the program ran in only a few seconds! I am confident that a solution to your project would be fastest in Python and I am willing to help you complete this project. I hope to hear from you soon!

Sorry i can't find a flowchart diagram here. But according to the scenario provided, it's not complicated to make a macro to automate the process. My thought is below: 1. embed a macro in the spreadsheet which contains "Master Sheet". 2. Run the macro (sub 1) to extract relevant data of those 12 spreadsheets respectively to "Master Sheet". 3. 3 other groups of people provide their inputs on "Master Sheet" (perhaps this step can be done automatically too) 4. Run the macro (sub 2) to copy the updated data of "Master Sheet" to the previous 12 spreadsheets accordingly. I have several years' experience in Excel VBA. Trust me. :)
