Hello, I can write VBA macro to automate this process. I have over 7 years of experience in VBA macros. As I see this, initial data will be 2 player lists (2 teams), with rank score assigned (manually, before macro is run, right?). For ex equo players, ranks scores like 7/8 are possible (would the format be still 7/8/9/10 for more even ranks?) The most crucial question is: whether match lists will be ready before macro is run - what would make the project very easy - or what is expect it to be - the program is supposed to create such lists, looking similar to this on attached PDF file, to help user decide on the most fair drafts. If the latter, then user will be able to click on cell near name to check / uncheck who plays this week. Also there will be a button to clear selection from all players (select all if needed too). Main button would generate the 3 lists according to conditions which You specified. I understand that on each list one player can be listed multiple times, meaning that he can be in more theoretical matches fulfilling this criteria and listing him once, doesn't remove him from player pool for next listed matches for this particular list? Any details can be adjusted even after initial delivery. Also from the requirements, it surely isn't $250-750 project, for now I would evaluate it no more than $150 even if match lists are not predefined.
