There are several publications available about using neuronal network / AI to predict solar plant power / energy output based on 24h weater forecast. The idea is to build up an algorithm that can be trained with daily quarter hourly or hourly values measured from solar plant and 24h weather forecast, which predicts solar plant power energy reliable (in about 20% of daily real value). The algorithm must allow daily training of about 10k plants on a daily basis on a normal xeon quad core processor (3ghz).
