I can start working on it right away. Approximately two months would be needed to get a working prototype. It would be necessary to identify right materials, and design the whole helmet, and then find someone who could make all necessary parts. What is the main purpose of that helmet? Dear Client, from the project description I understand that you need a helmet with double layer. There are few points to consider. Do you want the space between the two layers to be vacuum filled or should they be filled with any material which diminishes sound movement? How the user will see through the helmet? Would it be a transparent material or helmet will cover the face as well while obstructing view? Do you have sketch/drawing of the desired helmet? Do you need prototype only or will you require mass production? What is the milestone activity would you consider to release milestone payment? I would consider sharing a 3d model with finalization of material for various components. Since, this is a unique product with unique requirements, it may longer then the days specified in bid. I am a Physicist and I work with mechanical design since 1999. During this period I work for many companies always developing products and production tooling, like molds and die tools. I can design your helmet and build a prototype for your tests.

As the project seems to be more physics related and an aerospace reflection comes from the topic of this project, so I personally believe that my qualification in Aeronautical engineering and experience from the research and development company will helps me much to achieve mine and the employer's goals.
