Power Down Semiconductor is developing ultra-low power ICs for the energy harvesting market. Our first production part, the PDS430E2272 is based on TI's MSP430F2272, but will run 3X faster and consume 1/10 the power. We are looking for a contractor to help us prototype the part in a Spartan 6 FPGA. The part will include 2KB of ROM which stores the memory BIST and the boot loader. The BIST will write/verify checker board and inverse checker board patterns. The boot loader will transfer 32KB of data from external EEPROM to internal program memory (PMEM). Verification RTL (given in the online download) should also be run to verify the existing RTL for the FPGA. FPGA board and access to Synopsys server provided by PDSemi.
