Raspberry PI - accelerometer logger and Alert

I'm an experienced developer with a keen interest in the Raspberry Pi. I have worked on many Pi related projects using various input/output boards and devices. Do you have a particular accelerometer in mind? I generally develop Pi projects in Python or are you specifically after C? Will the Pi have access to a network connection? I would be very interested in working with you on your vibration alerting project.

hello sir, hope you are doing well. I am embedded system engineer and have done several project mems-imu (intestinal measurement unit). and definitely I will complete this project as per your expectation. but i want you to propose a different low cost solution because raspberry pi is comparatively costly and we can achieve this with soc based mcu. and that will be a better option for industrial purpose. and one more thing that for continuous vibration also raspberry pi damage after certain period if time. let me know if you are interested.

We can use MPU-6050 interfaced with a Pi. I will write the complete script to create a trigger so that it mails you the complete details. We can also add text trigger or even WhatsApp. I can setup by connecting to your Pi using VPC maybe? I been working as an IOT Developer for quite a while now. Would love to hear back!

Hello there I have done tons of projects on rpi. Mostly for prototyping. I believe you are not going to deploy this as a product. In that case, I advise you to use python rather than C. It will be more flexible and easy to scale in future. Both are fine for me. The software will take input from MPU6050/MPU9250 sensors(as they are the most commonly used sensors for this purpose) and alert using email once the threshold has crossed. I can also build a script for calibrating the sensors. If it's only vibrations, there are piezoelectric sensors as well in the market, which I think maybe better fit for the purpose. Apart from these, If you need, I can also provide you with the HAT PCB design for the project. Let me know if you are interested.
