We require a carrier board / shield for the Arduino MKR boards. Similar to the MKR CONNECTOR CARRIER ([login to view URL]). Low power is key. The board must be able to sleep with minimal power consumption (<5 uA).

We require the schematics and pcb layout and 50 tested and working prototypes.

Power supply:

The carrier will have a low power DC/DC regulator using TPS62740 and work from Li-SIO2 primary batteries.

Support an internal (on board or off board) and an external battery

Use TPS22917 load switch to switch between internal and external battery. If external battery present, disable internal battery.

Batteries are fused and circuit is protected against battery reversal

If voltage present on MKR +5V (ie: Vusb or Vin present) then disable power supply using TPS22917 load switch.

LED:

3 color SMT LED

Sensors:

SHT31 sensor

TMP116 sensor

ADS1115 ADC

I2C Accelerometer/IMU (InvenSense)

Load switch for external sensor power

Extra I2C bus

2 Analog differential amplifiers using LPV821

2 Analog singled ended amplifiers using LPV821

Memory

4 GB EMMC module

Micro SD card slot

SD card should be able to be powered off

Antenna

868/915 MHz antenna on board if Freelancer has skill to design this.

uFL connector

PCB

38.5mm x 63.5mm to fit existing enclosure. Will provide outline.

Antenna likely requires ground plane.
