Searching Task is to creating a working proto-type that multiplexes (provides power and the necessary amperage) ultrasonic waves to one of 6 transceivers (TR) for a central microprocessor/power unit. Two ranges must be tested, 1 at max range of 15 meters and the other at 3 meters or short range. The signal will be a buzzer and LED to let the tester know that a filtered signal meets the criteria. Wave properties must that must be collected, Time of Flight, Range, Doppler shift and material coefficients (change in amplitude)
The device will produce a matrix of collected data through a card reader so that the wave pattern can be analyzed through digital signal processing (DSP) and will be battery powered. A circuit that amplifies the 40 kHz signal and have the required wave filters must be employed. The consultant must have these skills to set up the model for DSP and the hardware skills to create the multiplexed matrix. An FFT model needs to be integrated to analyze the signal data.
The components available are; 6 TRs (specs will be provided), multiplexer, mcu, battery, breadboard first and soldered on a breadboard for testing second, op amps and shifters as needed to create the circuit, esp32 card reader to collect data. Diagrams must be presented in tinkercad so that I can put them together as instructed. Code is Arduino format.
