EMC Teaching Assistant Position (Part Time)

EMC FastPass is looking for a skilled hardware engineer interested in a teaching assistant position (remote OK) to help out with a new online course on EMC design for compliance, with a focus on immunity.

Responsibilities

----------------------

- Assistance with preparation of evaluation questions and answers for each module

- Creating relevant spice simulations

- Creating simple schematics + layouts in Eagle

- Marking assignments

- Responding to student inquiries

- Collating resources on specific EMC related topics (sourcing papers, app notes etc..)

- Other tasks as needed

Qualifications

-------------------

- 5 years industry experience with immunity compliance (ESD, EFT, surge, CI, RI, magnetic field, power quality etc..).

- Preferably experience as a hardware design engineer, but would consider troubleshooting technician or PhD in EMC related topic.

- Preference given to candidates who have solved many immunity failures.

- Self starter and motivated individual.

Hours & Pay

The course runs from 25th Sept 2017 for 8 weeks. Assistance will be needed before and during the course.

- Estimated required hours 4 to 16 per week.

- Compensation DOE.
