I need an LED flash circuit to form part of a portable consumer product. It is powered by Lipo battery, but the main working voltage is 5V. There are two LEDs, which should be driven at a strict current between 2.5A and 3A. The forward voltage drop may vary (see datasheet attached) so the current will need to be controlled. The diodes are placed in parallel, so restrict the total current through both diodes to 5A-6A.
The flash should be triggered by the STROBE pin, which is 3.3V when the flash should be on, and 0V when it should be off. A strict maximum of 15mA can be drawn through this pin. The pulses on this pin are up to 50ms in length. The response time of the diodes from off to on should be as short as possible.
