I am currently working with a vending system and basically need to know remotely how many coins have already been inserted for statistical and consumable management purposes.
There is a coin selector that only works with 1 pc of 1€ coin ([login to view URL]) which is connected to the main vending module through 3 wires: Red (12V), Black (GND) and White (Coin Signal Output).
Whenever a coin accepted by the coin selector is placed, a voltage of 12V is passed for about 1 second through the White wire, so the ESP32 should detect that pulse. The idea would be to place the equipment connected to the white wire and to react to the insertion of the coin with an SMS to a real time database.
I think that for this case the most suitable and cheap would be the ESP32 SIM800L But I amm open to suggestions.
The project must include all the software needed for ESP32+Database (preferably exportable to excel or similar) making it workable.

Easy project for me. I can make a simple online database which records date and time of every coin inserted. Excel file download is a nice option. From the excel you can make any statistics you want
Im a software engineer working actively on industrial internet of things domain. So i can make your request working smoothly. There is a question, is it possible to use data package? Why you want to use SMS?
