Data Visualization Specialist

We are looking for a data visualization specialist that will help us discover the information hidden in vast amounts of data, and help us make smarter decisions to deliver even better products. Your primary focus will be in applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building high quality prediction systems integrated with our products. Responsibilities • Engage stakeholders to develop functional data visualizations or dashboards; • Transform, improve and integrate data based on requirements provided by stakeholders; • Conducting assessment and examination of data from the source to ensure consistency; • Develop reports, dashboards and visualizations using multiple data sources in Rstudio • Come up with ideas, experimenting, forming hypotheses and testing them out • Validate accuracy of logic with clear test scenarios and back testing; • Ensure documentation and traceability of requirements and, process flow diagrams, and other project documents. Skills and Qualifications The ideal candidate will • Have data visualization experience, such as Tableau, Rstudio or MapD • Be familiar with web presentation tools such as Leaflet or d3.js, • Have experience with GeoJson, and able to create full stack solutions. • For non-English speaker, it requires good English reading skill, have okay writing skill and speaking skill
