Goal is to create a google sheet and custom report that joins data from 2 google sheets. Each month need to verify the work hours/ot/allowances for employees. There are 2 sources of data google sheets (WorkLog & Justlogin Log). The goal is to review help automate a process we carry out every 23rd of the month.
Step 1: Generate Monthly Labor Report - pulls data from 2 existing google spreadsheets.
Grouped by Project, Shows:
- Fields from WorkLog: Name, Date, Start Time, End Time, Public/Rest, Notes, TYPE, Total Hours, Lunch, Dinner, Hours Worked, Normal, OT-1.5, OT-2.0, Meal Allowance
- Fields from JustLoginLog: Start Time, End Time
- End Time is calculated by taking the out time, If nothing in 2nd out/3rd out/4th Out - use 1st out 2nd Out time
The date and name of worker is the data that would link the 2 google sheets.
Date and worker name as lookup to join to worksheets
Highlight discrepancies - Conditional formatting
Monthly Report Sent to PMs for verification - By close of business 23rd 12pm
PM to verify by 25th 10am
Confirm the overtime
PM Update any changes to Work Log
PM to highlight any changes required in just login
Second Report
Generate Monthly OT & Allowance Labour Report grouped by Staff Name
Fields to show: Name, Date, Start Time, End Time, Normal, OT-1.5, OT-2.0, Meal Allowance
Only records shown as those which have OT or Meal Allowance.
