We are building a worldwide database of contacts for approximately 4500 brands. We need to collate those into a cohesive whole for sourcing efficiency purposes. What that means practically is we want to get a central database with each brand and every one of their respective distributors globally and separate them by region (North America (Canada and the US), south America (everything south of Mexico including Mexico), EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa), and the The Five Regions of Asia - Asia Countries and Regions. Central Asia (Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan) East Asia (China, Mongolia, North Korea, South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau) South Asia (Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, India, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bhutan, Nepal, the Maldives). This data is to include the website, main contact email for quoting, phone number, and address ideally.
We have attached the old files that we started many years ago but never completed.
Open to suggestions on how to better organize this and make most effective when we have a a salesman that is looking for material from the manufacturers or their agents/
