POSSIBLY SEEKING A LONG TERM PARTNERSHIP FOR CONTINUOUS PROJECT BASED WORK. The amount of data is quite extensive, which is why I need someone that doesn't mind searching the web to find the correct information. You will be guided through my process of finding & vetting product attribution for various retail categories (i.e. strollers, coffee makers, etc.). This project is finite, but I would love to hire someone I can carry over to be part of my team full time as a virtual assistant. Here's a summary of the job: I'm currently trying to gather all of the product information of all brands of a same category in order to be able to compare everything properly. This is a rough draft and what you will be working with. On said spreadsheet you will be supplied 4 things: • Product Name • Product URL • SKU • Columns of Informations I Need to Compare. The information on various websites is never consistent making it hard to compare from brand to brand. This is where you come in! YOU MUST BE A WIZ AT SEARCHING ONLINE. Just because any given website says the coffee maker has a stay warm function, doesn’t mean it’s true. Your task is to make absolutely certain that the information on the websites is true. PLEASE NOTE THAT I WILL GUIDE SELECTED CANDIDATES THROUGH A SERIES OF SCREEN FLOWS AND EXAMPLE TESTS... TO ENSURE BEST RESULTS, TRUST, AND THAT WE ARE ON THE SAME PAGE. I will also send you detailed instructions for how I research these things online and what I will accept as a proper source URL, for example. Yes you are absolutely right that you can not blindly rely on the information given in any website for any product like for example you have mentioned that if in any website it is mentioned that Coffee maker has stay warm function so before putting this particular information about the product i have to be 100% sure. And how we can ensure about this information by finding same product in manufacture website or from other website selling this product. Here also one challanagaes comes in this way - Different different website uses different product name many time so it may be a difficlut situation for finding the exact product among various websites. This is my point of view and i would like to have detailed discussion how you want me to search etc. as you said you have detailed instruction for this work.
