Depending upon the specifics of your assignment, you may work in the front office in an admin/receptionist role, or you may provide administrative support in the accounting department. Your specific duties will include: Maintaining paper and electronic filing systems for records, correspondence, and other material, Drafting and sending memos Answering telephones (possibly multi-line) and providing information to callers, taking messages or transferring calls to appropriate individuals. Operating office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and phone systems, and using computers for spreadsheet, word processing, database management and other applications Sorting mail and either forwarding or delivering it to the correct department or office and Performing data entry, both alphabetical and numeric.
