Responsibilities Write clear, attractive copy in a variety of strong voices Interpret copywriting briefs to understand projects Conduct high-quality, exhaustive research Edit and proofread copy as needed Use SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach Provide design guidance for pieces as needed Skills Proven experience as a copywriter or related role Knowledge of online content strategy and creation Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills Experience/Knowledge of SEO Knowledge of various direct response media, from emails to letters, and what works in each format Strong research skills Creativity The ability to fail without feeling like a failure Self-directed time-management and organizational skills are a MUST Education not required, but BS/BA in marketing, English, journalism or related field welcome.'
