Content Specialist

Our Content Specialists are problem solvers who excel as writers and creative thinkers. They work with a selection of our 1,500 national nonprofit clients to create compelling fundraising copy across print and digital campaigns. They thrive on deadlines and can prioritize tasks. They collaborate well with internal design, strategy, copy edit and sales partners, while confidently serving as a thought leader for copywriting best practices. Our Content Specialists are curious and have an appreciation for distinctive client brands and voices. They are organized, detail-oriented and exact, and are successful navigating the breadth and depth of our clients’ needs. POSITION SUMMARY Each Content Specialist is responsible for overseeing the content development of client marketing (print, web, email and social). Combining creative ideas with group-provided strategy and vision, Content Specialists serve as authors for high-profile nonprofit campaigns and assemble deliverables for more turnkey clients. Content Specialists also routinely develop new content for INFUSE MEDIA'S LIMITED of articles. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following are fundamental duties that an individual who holds the position must perform. This is not an exhaustive list. Other duties, in addition to these essential job functions, will be assigned at the discretion of the Manager. Research, develop and edit content for use across direct mail, digital and social media platforms. Maintain a portfolio of high-profile clients, adopting their brand and voice to match the deliverable’s goal. Work across different internal teams and with a distinctive group of external clients. Give and receive feedback to refine the work based on results, best practices and collaboration. Maintain positive relationships and interpret feedback to produce best-in-class fundraising campaigns. Help create and maintain articles for The Company’s archive of content to ensure compliance with current tax laws, rates and editorial style. Serve as an internal content consultant for all departments in response to client requests and the production of marketing materials. Present and teach copywriting and creative best practices to staff.
