Hello, I am an aspiring illustrator, writer and a fulltime freelancer with passions for Dungeon and Dragons genre. I have experience in designing characters for DnD (some are personal commissions, and a few of them are for designing 2D characters to be converted into 3D modeling in the Hero Forge) and would surely love to work on similar projects! I don't think I deserve the rate of 25$/hour yet, as I believe I'm not an expert yet (12-15$/hour is more appropriate for my skill level). For character design for 3D modeling, I need approximately 4-6 hours per character with 3 different perspectives (front, side, back view of the characters) colored. But it all depended on the complexity of the design itself. My fixed rate for one character design is 40$. I know I'm not the best, but I'm steadily improving, like on a week to week basis. Hello good morning, I am an illustrator specializing in concept art and graphics novels. You can see all my experience on my profile so I will be direct. I charge 12 an hour but this project does not let it go below 25. The character design that you require to be a 3D production is broken down below with its corresponding hours: 1.- The elaboration of 3 black and white sketches to find the idea that best fits your vision. In addition, the artist presents other ideas to the director, this is the creative phase. Duration 8 hours, if you want color 8 hours more. (It seems a lot maybe but remember that I have to gather references and study the references that you give me. Think, imagine etc.) 2.- Color character in a characteristic pose, showing textures and materials so that 3D artists can guide themselves, 12 hours. (It may vary but it is an estimate upwards with more specifications may be less)   3.- Once you choose one, we proceed to make the spelling. You will tell me if you want them in color or not, there are several alternatives here. Without color, using only line those spelling is 4 hours. Extra-. Sometimes the production requires various poses and expressions of the character also for the animators to be inspired. Each black and white pose would take me 2 hours. In summary it would be approximately 24-32 hours each character. It could be less but I would have to have a chat with you to be able to give you more detail. My best wishes and successes
