I need a cloud REST service that will delete a user from Firebase Auth using the Firebase Auth Admin API

Hello, I can write a function to delete Firebase user using Firebase Admin API and this function can be deployed anywhere but would like to recommend you to use AWS Lambda which can access as GET API via AWS API Gateway. I will create the function, deploy and test. If any issue/bug found I will fix. I can write function either using Java, NodeJS, Python. Let me know if we can discuss. Thanks Arif Khan

Cannot contact you. have more then year of hands on experience working with AWS services, using more then 40% of its whole functionality. It will be relatively easy for me to handle your work using python.

I've been working with Firebase for a while now and I believe I can offer a great solution. Unless, specifically required as in your statement, that the solution be in Python, or Go , Firebase does expose REST enpoints that can be used to delete users via the Admin methods. However, if the proxy function is required in the mentioned languages, I an offer a solution with Python that proxies the request to firebase as a query param or body params.

I'd write an AWS Lambda function in Python to host the REST API. It cuts out the need to maintain server infrastructure and the requirements appear simple. I've over 5 years experience with the AWS services and this should be relatively straightforward. Looking forward to hearing from you. UPDATE: Upon further consideration, I'd suggest writing a Google Cloud Function instead as Firebase is native to GCP. I don't have much direct experience with GCP but I don't consider that an issue due to the simplicity of the project.

My suggestion is to create a cloud function for deletion and use events in realtime database. Instead of communicating with a new API your application could just write / remove the database record.
