I am pouring a foundation for a small, 14' eave, steel building (20 x 30 feet.) There will be a 12"x24" perimeter beam around entire building, with 4-5/8" Rebar in the beams, and 3/8" rebar on a 4" thick mat on 16" centers.
We are now adding one piece of heavy equipment (industrial centrifuge) and want to determine the foundation requirements to support it. Total weight 1600 kg. There are four feet spaced at 27" x 18". Static load 4000 N on each foot. Dynamic load - horizontal: 750 N on each foot; vertical: 2200 N on each foot.
