hello, i am doing embedded designs and programming. i can design and give all the information for this project. all you want is switch motor on every 30 seconds - run time 10 seconds - and off assuming motor turn only to one side sorry i did not understand the use of micro switch instead of relay you can use any general purposes Mosfet like IRFZ44/48 etc..(it will reduce relay spike problems while switch on) we can design this with micro controller. if you want only ON/OFF functions you can use small micro controllers like PIC12F508(if you have any other choice i can do in that way also) , I can give circuit diagram including part values, HEX file(source code for 30 seconds ON 10 seconds off) for microcontroller if needed you can add LCD display please give more detail so i can give a better solution.
